| | One More Angel in Heaven-Joseph | ] | Well I just got home from seeing Hitch. This was a funny and good movie. Every guy should go see this. Last week was hectic...it started off badly with exams and everything...but then Melissa got home and it was better. I had to work all saturday...yes ALL DAY to help with a guard competition. I had to wake up early...on a Saturday, like at 6. The Sunday I went to Darby's to work on a project, just another reason why I hate English. I had a concert on tuesday...for jazz band. I thought it went alright. We got hot dogs...so I guess it was our "paid gig." Then Wednesday Mel came home. And Thursday I skipped school to be with her...since I couldn't at all cause I was so busy. We got highlights! Woo woo! I like mine...and I like Melissa's too, even if she doesn't. I went to the airport on Thursday morning before school and had to wake up early too. It wasn't very teary this time cause I'll see her again in six days. But then I got to school and had to do an SAT workshop. BORING! I didn't even learn anything. But at least I got out of classes...which was a good thing for me, but I guess not for Mr. H. I stopped to say hey to my fellow band geeks before I went to lunch, and Mr. H just yells at me for missing band two days in a row the week before festival. I talked to him after school, and he says he was just "joking." But I have witnesses, and they all think that he was really, really mad. Whatever, I'm not a trumpet who needs practice...*cough cough*. After a long day of SAT I had to go to this Spring Fling concert. That wasn't fun either. We played two songs...and listened to middle schoolers play their songs. But then after that we went out to Applebee's to celebrate Kim's birthday. That was pretty fun. And then, Friday was no school!!! That was sooo great! It was like a 2 day week for me! That just means there's a lot of make up work...but oh well! This week is going to basically be the same "hard" work week. I'm not going to be at school for band festival...and then thursday and friday I'm going to be out of town! Another two day week, my life is so tough. lol. I'm just looking forward to the summer! That's going to be so fun and busy. First my mom's coming, then ali...then going to Illinios, hopefully for a really long time like usual, and then seeing Joseph, only the best broadway play ever! I'm excited...only about 2 more months to go...I hope I'll make it! I know I haven't written like for a month...but if you talk to me, I'm sure you know what's going on. All for now! Michelle |

| | We can't stop the beat-hairspray | ] | It's been a long time since I've updated. Well, I have spare time on my hands since I forgot my english notebook AND biology book. I'm an idiot!!! At least my paper's due tuesday...even if it is about the stupidest topic ever...and biology I have a late homework pass. But, it still sucks. A couple weeks ago, I played for the opera. It went pretty well...for an opera. And Darby showed up. Lol, not for me of course, for Kevin. All state got cancelled last weekend for snow. Yes SNOW!!! But God made it snow on a SATURDAY so it had all day sunday to melt so we still had school monday. That's waisted snow if you ask me. Grr. Well that gave me an extra week to practice...not that I made it though. I tried out yesterday. I thought I did alright. I was too nervous to do anything better than that. But I did make fourth chair region...which I guess is.....alright. After try outs my dad and I went to Sticky Fingers. That place is SOO good! Mmm. And then we went to the columbiana mall. It wasn't all that. It was alright, but...nothing special. I still had so much fun though! Today is superbowl day...I probably won't watch anything but Paul McCartney at half time. I missing florida! :( I can't wait to see ali...which I don't know when...but I can't wait. Well, all for now! Michelle |

I'd rather listen to fingernails on a chalkboard for 90 minutes. Well, I had a sleepover last night. ...NO comment on this. But at least one things looking up for me. The Phantom of the Opera is playing in Spartanburg now. Only a little late. I'm so excited. And, it's closer to March which means that I'm closer to Florida! WOO! We have...dun dun duuuun....marching band practice this week. I thought I was totally done for the season. But I guess not! We're going to play our opener for eighth graders. woo. But guess what that means!? I get to get out of a little bit of english! So WOO WOO to that! I'm trying out for drum major for this coming season. I really hope I get it. I can't wait. I have such good competition though, it's going to be a close one. It's Clay's birthday on Wednesday. Yeay! I hope he loves my present! |

Right now she's in Joseph state, without the music though! I don't know how she's going to get through it! Roar! I had such a great winter break! Too bad it's over. Me and Mel had a lot of fun still though...mainly shopped, even when I was sick! Fun stuff! I survived another sheet search...this one wasn't half as bad as the rest though, thanks meliss! I got a haircut! woo! I think it's cute...no matter who laughs at it! *cough ali cough* The hairdresser was kinda freaky though. Let's just say I think my sister could've done a way better job. She left chunks just inches longer than the rest. It was kinda obvious. Thank goodness Meliss fixed it...it's not as "piecy" now. lol. At least it happened to me and not her...she would've cried! School started this week. BLAH! My classes are not on my hallway...they're harder...no driver's ed...I actually have homework...and a lot of it too. Stupid english...it's the first class that I actually hate, even though I have so many friends in there. Another reason I hate spartanburg-they don't play phantom of the opera! We have to go all the way to greenville! What's up with that. What if you have a dad that doesn't want to drive that far? Blockbuster I'm waiting! ali!! I miss you! all for now! *Michelle |

| | I miss my family! | ] | Today my family left. It was really sad, like always. I miss them already...and they're just on thier way home. We had such a great visit. Every day was FILLED, just like usual. We saw the mountains, decoupaged (with the help of Clay), talked, movied, REDECORATED (both our house and my dad's office), went to the Biltmore Mansion, putt putted, shopped, saw Dorman (which they were just in awe of), and played many, many games. My favorite part had to be just talking and playing...yes, spoons! Which I am still the queen of. We make this game into a sport. It's great. We also went to the Beacon. I, of course, got a salad. They really do have the best salads and cherry coke. Mmm. But, my Aunt AND Uncle both got sick from it...they're just not used to that much grease. Everyone liked it though. We looked online for things to do here...number one was The Beacon and the second was the mall. How sad is that!? Geez. Gosh, I love my family so much! Also, Clay has really impressed me during this whole break. I told him earlier that when my family comes up we won't be able to do anything cause our family time is always so crunched...and he totally respected that. I don't know what I was expecting him to say...but he just impressed me. I know if I couldn't see him for a week because his family was there...I would go nuts. Just being a walk away and not being able to see him. He is such a great guy. He's currently at the Panther game with his best friend...cause I couldn't go. I hope the Panthers win for you...if not...sorry Clay. But you can always root for the Packers! I'm so ready for 2005. Good ridence 04 is gone! Woo! I have my resolutions that I'm praying will go better than expected. I so hope so... |

| | Let it snow...please!!! | ] | Winter break rocks!!! I love this no school thing!!! It's great. Saturday I made a get better greg day. I think it kinda worked. A lot more people came than I though, yeay! We saw Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. It was good. I read all the books when I was little. It was just like the first book, except for the ending. The ending I didn't like. Before I saw the movie me and my dad went to Hames...the big one in Gaffney...and picked out a new trumpet! It's so pretty! It's a Getzen. Silver, no scratches or dents! Plus, the slides MOVE! It's so beautiful! Later Saturday night I went over to Clay's and saw Bruce Almighty. I love that movie, it's soo funny! On Sunday he invited me to his church. The chorus did a cantata. It was good, I liked it. His church is soo different than Van Dyke though. It had 40 people there. That's just crazy. After church they took me out to Wade's. It's a vegetable place that was really good. I've heard so much about it I was glad I could go. Then, that night I went to Ashley's church for a lock in. It was fun. We played underground church which was my favorite part. I didn't like capture the flag...although sara and I though we were really good guards because no on came. It just turned out that everyone quit because it was SOOO cold! It was that kind of cold that it hurt to breathe. We got almost 2 hours of sleep! But then I took a little nap....for 6 hours! It was good. Melissa's HOME! FINALLY! I'm hoping today we'll shop...probably at Michael's. Who by the way knocked on our door this morning!!! I guess they saw Melissa's car...and decided to see if she was really here? I don't know, but it's funny! Melissa's freaked out right now. Tomorrow...I think...Me, Melissa, Matt and Clay are going to see Meet The Fockers. I hope it works out. Love ya, Michelle |

| | Above All- Michael W. Smith Gotta love this song! | ] | My week started off rough!!! I had a TERRIBLE weekend. But thank goodness my week is going so much better. I had a dress rehearsal on monday. Not fun! I literally should have just played with my eyes closed, it's not like I could have seen the director anyways. We would get yelled at for not being with him. Figures....it's always our fault. Grr... at least my dad took me out to brusters afterwards. Even though I was the only one to get ice cream and it was freezing, it's never too cold for brusters. And last night was our concert. I think we did pretty good. No one messed up on their solos, not even me. I even had nice vibrato...not that I was trying. I had my research part of my exam today. That was awful. We had one class period to write a paper and it was due at the end of class. I have the question part tomorrow...I THINK that should be easier. I have my spanish exam on Friday. Geez, so much to study! I've already studied a lot...like more than half way. But still....grr! I wish we could exempt like everyone else! FL people are so lucky. Plus you don't even have to go to school that day. *Jealous* Friday's a half day, and I want to do something, I just don't know what. Spartanburg only has so many choices. I'm so mad my secret santa knows that I have her! It's SECRET santa for a reason. Big mouths!!! We have to play tomorrow at the assembly. Which means I have to dress up to school...AGAIN! It's not fun, no no no. Plus, this is like the fourth time I've had to do it. Then people all day are like, "Hey, you're dressed up!" Well, tomorrow more than 5 other people will be dressed up, so at least they won't ask...hopefully. If they do, they have serious problems. well, goodnight! I'm off to study my other half. Michelle
P.S. Melissa and AG thanks so much for helping me this weekend! I LOVE YOU GUYS! |

| | Oceano- Josh Groban | ] | I haven't written in a while...so this is going to be a long one. Thanksgiving...it really wasn't half as bad as I thought it was going to be. Of course there were the stuck up cousins, as to be expected, but my family was actually pretty nice to us!!! I was totally surprised! Even my gradma was...now that was a great surprise. I was so glad my aunt Mary was there. She was great. I got to see Liam for my first time...he's three. Total momma's boy. It was totally different this visit. Which was good! I have to say my favorite part was coming home from the airport and playing the fart machine on Melissa! lol. Playing hide and go seek with Uncle Nick was really fun too. It was girls vs. boys I guess...but it was fun. Playing flashlight tag was great too! Uncle Nick turned off the power to the house...this was serious! lol. We found him up in the attack! That was fun. I guess I won't put that much of a fight to go again. Yesterday was girl's night out! Sara, Hannah, Ashley and I saw the Polar Express! Finally! I've been wanting to see that for a looong time...ever since I saw the previews. It was a good, cheesy Chrismas movie, exactly what I wanted it to be. My favorite part must've been mine and sara's side comments. We made Hannah believe that since he lost his bell he goes into a state of depression and strangles himself with chrismas lights. Kinda gross, but really funny at the time. We ate at our traditional Garfield's. Our paper tablecloth we made into a piece of art, as usual. I even got my christmas shopping for my secret santa done. I'm sooo happy we're doing secret santa. Now I only had to get one gift...and not 15. So much better! We should have a girl's night out more often! Today I volunteered at the library for Anchor Club and made ornaments with little kids. It was fun. Santa came in at the beginning. It was so funny to hear Santa with a southern accent! Hoa hoa hoa! After, I went to shop for glasses for my dad. He couldn't believe how small they were. You can't even get glasses his size anymore! lol. I made him wait until melissa shops with us to buy them. He was just going to buy a pair today...but then I told him Meliss would probably make him return them. lol. Then he reconsidered. I got Ali's birthday invitation today! I'm sorry I can't go Ali, I'll be out of town. But thanks for the invite! I was SUPPOSED to watch a movie tonight with Clay. But he wanted to go to Greenville with his parents. :( I guess I did the same thing to him though. We were going to see a movie earlier, but then I volunteered both shifts. I guess we're going to watch one here tomorrow night after our concert. Bill Drake Christmas Festival tomorrow! Woo??? Everyone's talking about Bill Drake like he's God, but I've never heard of him before. Our jazz band's going to be on the radio though! That's pretty cool! And I don't have to wear that UGLY black symphony dress...cause I won't have enough time to change from my jazz band clothes. Thank goodness! lol. Thursday I missed all of school but Spanish to do dress rehearsal for Bill Drake. I went there ans practiced with the symphony, and then went to the Beacon. Where I ordered a salad and a cherry coke. I guess it's like a sin to order a salad and any drink besides their GROSS sweet tea. I got made fun a lot. Oh well, it was a good, not greasy salad. Then we went back to Dorman at 2:55. And I had to be at the bus outside at 3 for jazz band. So after we loaded the drum set we left AGAIN for the Bill Drake dress rehearsal. We should've just stayed there, it would've saved time...lol. 10 day until Chrismas BREAK! I can't wait! The Wiesbrook's are coming! WOOO! I'm so excited! They've never been here! I don't know what we'll do for fun... but hopefully we'll figure something out. My dad said he'll "think" about getting me a new trumpet for chrismas. He doesn't want to spend a lot of money...so ebay it is. He said that's fine. I'm soo excited! I'll get a 3rd valve slide that'll move...I won't get yelled at all the time because I'm out of tune! I'm excited! I think I want a Getzen 700. They're not expensive, but they're good quality. I have so much homework this weekend. I have to write a persuasion speech. No guidelines. I just have to argue with the class! I'm nervous. The last time I spoke in front of class was Dr. Sawyer's class in 8th grade for the Gettysburg Address. And I think just about EVERYBODY knows how that went. I think I'm going to speak about girls should be allowed in all the drum corps. No one in my class probably knows what the heck a drum corps is...so I think I'll win the debate. Hopefully. Food Day is Friday for Spanish! This is the best day EVER in spanish. Everyone brings in spanish food and for the whole class we just eat! The bad part is, we have to make the food, write the recipe, and find the origin. I also have a short story research paper due. Yuck! Just to make this clear...I am NOT having a party! I don't know who made this rumor up...so don't be mad at me if I didn't invite you, I didn't even invite myself. My dad also said that for Easter we can go to florida! This is just in the talking stage right now...but I so hope it'll work out....did you hear that ali!? Love ya, Michelle |

Today has totally been a blonde day. You can even ask Clay... I did so many things. lol. At least he has a great sense of humor! He gave me that I'm-just-going-to-forget-you-just-said-that look. lol. Gotta love him. Ali's starting her own wtf board...except I think it's going to be called "Here's How Blonde Michelle Is" board. I know at least I have a chance...yes, a chance...to win against melissa, but Ali. Um, no. I doubt she'll get up to 5. Well, she is going to be 16 years old now. lol. Anyways...
Today was a Great day! I just gotta say it....clay you're awesome! He gave me a "reward" today. I'll just leave it at that.
Today's my daddy's birthday! I made him a card, and got him a poster and posted happy birthday dad signs in the house. We're going to finish celebrating it with Melissa later this week. Happy Birthday Dad!
I had my wind ensemble try outs today after school. They went okay. I got all my scales. And Luckily I got out of doing the chromatic. He never asked me to play it...so I for sure didn't bring it up! I'm kinda glad I got to do it today. He didn't go behind the big screen...since he kinda knew who I was because I was the only one who tryed out today, since I'm not going to be at school tomorrow or wednesday. I had to wait like an hour for him to just let me try out for 5 minutes. I felt bad too because clay waited too...since he was my ride home. I had no idea that Mr. Harward would take so long talking to the chorus guy when he knew someone was waiting on him. He was not on my good list. But hopefully I'll make it! I'm almost positive I will...but I'm not going to get cocky. Oh whatever...yeah, I'll make it. lol. So much for that. But when I make it...I'll have to sit by Beeker. AHH!! The drama. I can't make Clay sit by him...no one should ever have to do that a whole semester, I would feel WAY too guilty. Clay doesn't really like him either. And I'm not going to even ask Nick to. He has his little end chair only slogan taped to his forehead. So that leaves, me. I won't feel guilty...and I just dare him to mess with me. I'm ready! lol. Plus...he knows I did aikido...of course he's never seen me do it. But the fact he knows counts for something...right? Well, I'll just hope.
LIES!! Grr! Why do people have to lie! Especially when they're about someone who can't be there to tell the truth! grr....
Texas. Tomorrow. Yuck. Family. Bad. YUCK!!! I'll tell ya how that goes... Love ya, Michelle |

My dinner was noodles, and banana bread, plus desserts...bc we went to that line first since no one was there. lol. I also saw Nick doing color guard...that was a sight to see! It was so funny. Wednesday was jazz band as usual. It was a really fun one actually, it was funny. We talked about being STUUPED. lol. I guess it was a you-had-to-be-there thing. We're going to be on live tv monday. I'm excited! We'll also be on the radio! How cool is that!? Then I had the Weng-man. I didn't really learn anything...just sight read stuff. On Thursday was my symphany concert. It was boring, but WAY less boring than the first one...thankfully. The first piece, well that was funny. The director started and we all thought that it was sleigh ride, and it wasn't. Well, at least we figured out that it wasn't before we actually did start playing. lol. We had our horns up and everything....then just had confused faces. I'm not very fond of the director, she's not very good. Plus...she doesn't even say what piece that we're going to play. And yesterday was my first friday off in a looong time! NO football game! WOOO! I did exactly what I wanted to do, NOTHING! It was so nice. My mom had a seizure Wednesday. I found out after the concert thursday and I called her that night. She seemed okay, just had trouble talking cause she chewed her tongue pretty badly. That really scared me...and her too! I have two wtf points...grr. lol. Well I guess I'm winning! If that's good. Last night I talked to Carrie for a while. It was so nice! I miss her so much! It was good getting caught up on Florida gossip! Happy Sweet 16 Carrie! I also talked to my uncle and the rest of his family because it was his birthday too! I love you guys and can't wait to see you for Christmas!!! Today I finally finished my spanish translation of a story. Yuck! It took a loong time. But at least it makes sense now! lol. I also shopped for brown shoes for jazz band, they're cute. They are brown boots with a little heel. It's the big usc vs. clemson day. That's where Clay is. It's a big thing...our school was all decked out yesterday. Even when I was grocery shopping some lady asked me if I knew what the score was. And Clemson won! Yeay! (I'm really not that big of a fan, but Clay is...so I try) That's all for now! Michey!
1 day week next week! Ali I'm sooo catching up! |

| | Our God is An Awesome God- Rich C. Mullins | ] | Last night was so fun! I LOVE Andrew's parties! It was very different without hannah or sara (Santa) being there though. The stairs were my favorite part! Maybe next time we can go in the spa...I'll just keep hoping. It was so cold yesterday! I'm ready for the summer, lol. I jammed my finger yesterday too! Ouch! I feel like a total clutz! I jammed it in the car door, oops! Only 6 more days of school, well for me, until break! I'm REALLY not looking forward to break, just the no school part. I'm sure I'll have many, many stories to tell once I get back from Texas. I'm really nervouse about going. But once that's over it'll be that much closer to Christmas! Then I get to see the Wiesbrooks, and Ali...hopefully. Plus Melissa's coming up for like a month! Sleepovers! I better start getting used to Michey again. lol. I think I should be added to the board, I'd so win! lol, I don't know if that's a good thing. Well, friday we played for veterans in the morning! All I can say is OOF! Beeker totally didn't look at the key signature!!! He so messed me up, I'd be playing the right note...and would think I'm wrong because it sounded so awful. And now Mr. H thinks I'm an awful player. Nice isn't it!? When we played for the freshman thursday Beeker missed this one part up and I just kept going with the rest of the ensomble...and he stopped and then got back in. And he told some freshman that I messed it up! The nerve!!! Not like I really care what the freshman think anyways, but just the fact that he lies to make himself look better while making me look bad gets on my nerves! Thank goodness the freshman aren't that stupid to believe him. Grr...back to Beeker vs. Michelle again. No more football games!! Yes! I knew we would lose! It's about time! Lol. I just wanted it to be over. I was all excited because Rich C. Mullins is coming to greer. He's the guy who sings Our God is An Awesome God. Well, I was hoping to see him at like a church or something. But no! He's signing autographs at....Wal-Mart! I'm NOT kidding! This is a new low...even for sc! Well off to study for spanish, Michelle |

| | My Stupid Mouth- John Mayer | ] | Research papers suck. Especially when you can't find the research, it gets a little hard. Why would you have to do a research on no research!? Well, at least I'm ALMOST half way done! Go me! It also doesn't help when you have to march in a parade during prime time homework time. Marching past that Krispy Kreme was rough! I'm going to my first paid gig tomorrow! Well, not money paid, but all the food I can eat! I'm playing at the golden corral...mmmm. Also, I don't have to do gross, disgusting, dirty uniforms! YES! Tomorrow should be a good day! Well, back to doing note cards for the research paper.....grrrr. Love ya, Michelle |
